Listen to a remix of Thrice’s song “Words in the Water.” This song is a beautiful imagining of the transition from the Old Testament law to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This is great! It’s taken me some time but St. Vincent is finally becoming one of my favorite artists, which primarily has to do with her amazing new album, Strange Mercy. Here she performs an acoustic version of the song “Surgeon” as part of The AV Club’s awesome new series, One Track Mind. There’s also an interview portion where she talks about the song as well. ...

I gave up on Damien Rice years ago for a variety of reasons, but I was always curious what would become of his singing partner Lisa Hannigan. She’s since put out two solo albums and I’m still on the fence whether I like her music or not. Regardless, the Tiny Desk concert she recently did for NPR is amazing! And it reminded me of how much I love Irish folks!
