Sufjan outtakes anyone?

Here is a great video of Cat Martino (an artist I was unfamiliar with until today) capturing the process of her creating a song over the course of two days. She gets a little help from Sufjan Stevens who’s touring band she used to be in. You can listen to the full completed song here. This video is from a video series called Shaking Through which looks pretty cool.

Another Sufjan Stevens collaboration, this time with Rosie Thomas. The song is “Where Were You?” which is a new version of Thomas’ song “Where Was I?” and will be the A side of 7” single titled, Hit & Run Vol. 1 to be released on record store day, April 21. The B side will feature Stevens’ response titled “Here I am!”.

Sufjan Stevens has joined forces with Son Lux and rapper Serengeti to form s/s/s. The group have an EP coming out March 20th. Check out their song “Museum Day.” Love Sufjan’s vocals on this track, not sure about the rapping parts… sounds a little disjointed, but I think this shows promise!
